Happy Friday everyone! I know we are all excited for the weekend, and I just want to thank everyone in Utah who watched my segment today on Good Thing Utah. It is one of my all time favorite shows, and I love going on the show! The GTU girls are my favorite, ever, so that makes it even better!

Today I talked about doing braids that look a lot more complicated than they actually are. Because seriously, braiding can be SO SIMPLE!

Check out my segment here! And see how to do a great side braid much like this:

The biggest thing to remember is that not all braids are going to work on all hair types, or at least they won’t look the same! That’s okay! You can still rock any braid you want or change it up a bit to fit your style better. In the segment, my model had to be at an angle far away from my hands that made it hard to get the braid right along her hairline like this photo.

But that is a really easy fix! Just start your braid at your part and go STRAIGHT down, instead of angling it to the side! Super easy. I hope you guys like it!

You can also check out our Facebook Live video where we talk a little more about braiding and see how I did my hair for the show today, and I also show you how to do a fun braid on Michelle Money that looked amazing!

Thanks so much for following, reading, and sharing! Have a great weekend, you guys!

xx
