BUBBLE PONYTAIL HAIR TUTORIAL

It has been so hot lately, and I have a five month old who likes to chew on on my hair if I wear it down: the top 2 reasons I find myself wearing it up almost every single day! For awhile, I was doing a top knot WAY too much. Which got really boring.

Don’t get me wrong, I love top knots! But every day? Any style gets old if you are doing it that often. And then I just got sloppy with it. I’ve been doing better trying out different styles to keep my hair up and out of those little baby hands reach!

Here is how to do it:

  1. Start off with a regular pony, at any place of your head you like the best. If you are like me and don’t want it all up, pull some pieced out to frame your face.
  2. Add another clear elastic in your pony, about two inches down, and pull it apart to make the “bubble.”
  3. Continue with the bubbles until you reach the end of your hair. You may want to go through one more time and pull them to make them bigger. Or maybe I am just really addicted to doing that! haha!
  4. Finish with hairspray!

That’s it!

This bubble pony has become one of my favorites, and it is so fast and easy to do. It’s the perfect style for a rushed morning when you have to get out the door to make it to the store, or an appointment, with two kids in tow and your hands full of all their necessities to leave the house.

Let me know if you like this one! If you try it out, use the #tessamariehair on social media so I can see and comment!

Thank you for reading, love you all! Have a wonderful weekend!

xx

P.S. These were taken at the end of a long day, so you can see some of my layers popped on some bubbles, but for the most part it was pretty durable!
